RESORT TV NETWORK - PROMOTIONAL OPPORTUNITY
Would you like to see our town of Pemberton get some TV exposure in Whistler?
Resort TV Network has approached one of their producers with the idea of creating a show about Pemberton and are willing
to donate up to 5 minutes of airtime for free. Producing the show will be Lisa Fernandez who is one of our local residents
and Chamber Member through La Hacienda Bed and Breakfast. The Pemberton Chamber of Commerce along with Tourism Pemberton
would like to extend their support for this project to help bring some positive exposure to our town and all that we have
to offer.
Lisa is seeking to cover the cost of production through a variety of sponsorship options available to our local businesses.

LAST CALL FOR MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS
The 2005 Membership directory is ready for printing. Anyone who has not renewed their membership will not be listed in
the Directory. Those who rack brochures at the Visitor Info Centre will have their rack cards removed if membership has
not been renewed. To accommodate latecomers, renewals will be accepted until Friday, July 8th. If you have lost your invoice,
the membership form is available on the Chamber website – Join Now
– or at the Visitor Info Centre.

RICK HANSEN WHEELS IN MOTION
The Rick Hansen Wheels in Motion Event in Pemberton raised $2001. Special thanks to the many volunteers who made this event
possible. An application will be made shortly for the Quality of Life project for Pemberton from ½ of the funds raised.

If you are interest in having your business listed on one or both of the Chamber Business Directory Signs at One Mile Lake

All old signs will be removed and new ones erected. The signs will also be having a fresh coat of stain applied.
VISITOR INFO CENTRE STATS
To the end of June there were 3,784 visitors recorded at the Pemberton Visitor Info Centre which is up slightly from 2004
which had 3,341 visitors.
SPECIAL PROJECTS GRANT
The Pemberton Visitor Info Centre will be the proud owners of 2 new 30’ aluminum flagpoles and a bear proof garbage can
as a result of receiving a grant of $ 4280 under Tourism BC’s Special Project funding. The concrete base has been poured
and we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the new poles. There will be two bear proof garbage cans at the VIC one purchased
by the Village.
