February 2010 Events

Spirit of BC Pemberton ValleyThe Spirit of BC Community Committee Pemberton Valley takes great pleasure in presenting numerous events throughout the month of February of 2010.  We grew these events for the past five years, focusing on participation for all ages; preparing to showcase our communities and welcome the world to Canada, British-Columbia and our beautiful Valley.

Our goal is to entertain our visitors throughout their stay and community members with a variety of events; however we are only able to accomplish this goal through generous sponsorship and continued support from our local companies and organizations such as yours. Every little bit helps and to give everyone an opportunity we started sponsorship as little as $50.

The community of Pemberton will host visitors and volunteers alike, plus we are expecting about 500 visitors per day including media.

The German Olympic Youth Athlete Academy is calling Pemberton home during the 2010 games. Coaches of the German Olympic Academy, include Rosi Mittermeier the European Olympic Gold medalist in downhill skiing.  Our German guests will be part of our celebrations and will draw media attention throughout their stay in Pemberton.

Sponsorships Fund Local Initiatives

Get a piece of the pie and showcase your company during all of February 2010 at our Livesite in Pemberton. Your contribution will help our community to create its legacies as Spirit of BC - Pemberton will reinvest all monies raised during 2010 towards much needed community amenities and various community projects you are familiar with such as completion of the Bike and Skateboard Park to name a couple of examples.
