2011 Pemberton Chamber Awards Criteria

PCC 4C VerticalIt's that time again! The Pemberton & District Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for community and business awards to recognize commercial enterprizes and citizens for their contribution to the Pemberton Valley.

PEMBERTON CHAMBER AWARDS 2011 CRITERIA

CUTOMER SERVICE AWARD

Criteria: A business that provides its customers with a consistency of excellence in quality service, staff and/or products beyond customer expectations .The business establishes trust with experience, knowledge and is proactive.

Eligibility: Any business.

COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD

Criteria: A non-profit organization that provides a direct contribution to the quality of life in the Pemberton area. This award goes to the organization that involves itself in the community and directly assists people or events through staff or volunteer time, or direct participation.

Eligibility: Any non-profit organization.

NEW BUSINESS AWARD

Criteria: A business commenced in the preceding two years that has demonstrated a good record of success and a strong commitment to the Pemberton area.

Eligibility: Any business.

BUSINESS of the YEAR

Criteria: An owner, partners or company that provides excellent leadership and builds customer relationships. One that makes you want to 'shop locally'. A business that makes an investment back into the community. A business that has  operated for over one year and is  located within the area represented by the Pemberton & District Chamber of Commerce including the communities of Pemberton, Mt.Currie, Birken and D'Arcy.

Eligibility: Any business.

CITIZEN of the YEAR

Criteria: We can all learn from the volunteer example set by others who over the years, have given so much back to make the Pemberton area the community that it is today. A good citizen is someone who is helpful, considerate, and willing to put others first. They consider the needs of those around them and are always generous when offering support, their time and talents.

Eligibility: A resident of Pemberton, Mount Currie, Birken or D'Arcy.
