Sea to Sky Community Services Society
Community Services
About Us

Each year, Sea to Sky Community Services (SSCS) helps thousands of children, youth and adults of all ages to improve physical and mental health, gain confidence and strengthen their skills, and envision and act on positive options for their lives. Over time, individuals and families explore ways to better support themselves and provide encouragement for others in their community.

Currently, SSCS manages over 40 unique community services and programs for the Squamish area and for residents in the Sea to Sky Corridor north to the Pemberton region. Each day, we have hundreds of opportunities to interact with community members who benefit from our services: in the last year alone, more than 15% of the Sea to Sky Corridor’s population accessed SSCS services (6,200 of 40,000).

Our programs and services include affordable housing for low-to-moderate income earners, the Healthy Pregnancy Outreach program along with early childhood care and education, social supports such as Stopping the Violence and Poverty Law Advocacy programs, and mental health services for residents of every age and stage of life including children, youth and seniors, as well as programs to alleviate food insecurity.

Since its founding in 1978, SSCS has steadily gained valuable competencies in strategic organizational planning, program development and facilitation, and the ability to engage and effectively work with community leaders and organizations in order to collaboratively grow vital services in Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton and throughout the Corridor.
