Job Details:

We’re hiring for the position of Bookkeeper, reporting to the Head of Bookkeeping.

About the Role:

Part time – year-round with plenty of potential for career growth. Starting ASAP.
Typical office hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm although plenty of room for flexibility depending on experience.

The Perfect Candidate:

Full-cycle accounting knowledge and experience, particularly order to cash and procure to pay process flow.
Proficient with computers and basic programs like Excel, Word, Outlook.
QuickBooks Online Advanced Certification a must have. Xero advisor certification a bonus.
Thorough attention to detail, organization and accuracy, while maintaining efficiency.
Ability to manage a high-volume workload.
Excellent communication, problem solving and decision making skills.
Willingness to learn and interpret basic accounting principles.

Responsibilities Include:

Responsible for a dedicated list of clients to administer on a full-cycle accounting basis.
Processing and recording of transactions directly into client’s general ledger, through systems integration.
Reconciliation of bank accounts using QuickBooks Online and Xero accounting software.
Ensuring accounts payable and accounts receivable balances are correctly stated each reporting period.
Monthly / quarterly reporting outputs by client to Head of Bookkeeping for presentation to client(s).
