Job Details:
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement training programs for gymnasts based on their skill level and goals
– Instruct gymnasts on proper techniques, form, and safety protocols
– Provide guidance and support to help gymnasts improve their skills and reach their full potential
– Plan and lead practice sessions, ensuring a safe and productive training environment
– Evaluate gymnasts’ progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement
– Prepare gymnasts for competitions, including choreography and routines
– Collaborate with other coaches to develop team strategies and ensure consistent coaching methods
– Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and competition results
Experience:
– Previous experience as a Gymnastics Coach or in a similar role
– Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, rules, and safety protocols
– Ability to effectively communicate with athletes, parents, and fellow coaches
– Experience working with athletes of various ages and skill levels
– CPR/First Aid certification preferred
Skills:
– Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with athletes and parents
– Strong organizational skills to plan training sessions and track progress
– Ability to provide clear instructions and demonstrations to athletes
– Knowledge of swim techniques (preferred)
– Ability to educate athletes on proper form, technique, and safety measures
