Whistler Personnel Solutions has a position for an Executive Director.

Offering a fully remote work environment and earning potential of $35 to $47 per hour plus the opportunity to create learning opportunities for our local community.
About the Role, Benefits & Perks:
20 to 30 hours per week; schedule fluctuates throughout the year, lots of flexibility.
Must be able to attend events, meetings, etc.
1-year contract with the potential to extend based on performance.
Starting wage in the range of $35 to $47 per hour depending on experience.
Remote, work-from- home position that also requires working throughout the Whistler community. Candidates must reside in the Sea to Sky Region.

The Perfect Candidate:
A university degree in a related subject (e.g. education, planning, business) with two-three years of project management experience including people/volunteer management.
Effective communicator with clear decision making abilities with good organizational and planning skills.
Creativity/Innovation: Develop new and unique ways to improve operations of the organization and to create and pursue new opportunities
Proficiency in the use of computers for: word processing, data base management, excel.
Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software, Wagepoint or similar payroll software, Mailchimp or similar email marketing software, familiarity with WordPress or similar website design software.
Knowledge of the Whistler Resort as it relates to business, tourism and events.
Established relationships with Resort stakeholders, e.g. RMOW, TW, non-profits, hospitality, service, and activity sectors.
Working with the board of directors, develop an annual one-year workplan guided by the Strategic Plan.
Execute the work plan ensuring all activities are in line with the mission, vision and values of the organization.
Develop new / or maintain existing systems required to successfully run and implement programs.
Monitor the progress of the organization’s workplan and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful advancement of the organization’s programs.
Manage fundraising efforts ensuring a coordinated effort with volunteer fundraisers and the Board.
Working with the Marketing and Community Development Coordinator develop a communications strategy.
Prepare for regular board meetings and provide progress reports.
Undertake an initial six-month evaluation of operations and provide a summary report including next steps to provide to Board, funders and other relevant audiences.
