Meet the Members

Tucked into the heart of Pemberton, Baby Face Beauty is more than just an esthetics studio—it’s a space built on connection, education, and feeling good in your own skin. Behind the business is Rhiannon Csordas, a passionate, certified esthetician who brings a thoughtful, science-backed approach to beauty while keeping things approachable, inclusive, and very Pemby. With a strong focus on bringing confidence to her clients, Rhiannon has created a place where everyone is welcome and skincare doesn’t have to feel intimidating.

Tell us a little about your business! What services do you offer, and who are your customers?

Baby Face Beauty is a fully rounded esthetics studio offering just about everything in the beauty world. From all things skincare to nails,  laser, spray tans, red light therapy, hybrid red light and tanning, and full-body red light panel systems—we truly do all things esthetics.

My background is deeply rooted in skin health. I began my esthetics journey several years ago by completing my LPN prerequisites at a college in Vancouver, followed by my Medical Aesthetics Certification and Laser Operation Safety Certification at an academy in Kelowna. From there, I spent several years working hands-on in Whistler, where I built a wonderful client base and broadened my skillset.

Throughout that time, I’ve completed additional certifications in cosmetic tattooing, specialized brow shaping, Brazilian wax training, and skin and hair anatomy. While Baby Face Beauty originally started with brows, skin quickly became the heart of what I do. Today, I’m busiest with skin-focused services, helping clients manage concerns like acne, rosacea, skin tightening, and overall skin health.

My clients are anyone looking for results-driven treatments in a welcoming, inclusive space—where education is just as important as feeling comfortable and confident in your own skin.

My approach is knowledge-based and science-backed, with a big focus on accessibility and affordability. I want skincare to feel approachable—not intimidating. We ease into it and meet people where they’re at.

The studio is also home to Steph Lundy, who offers nail services, lash lifts and tints, waxing, and more, which makes the space feel like a true one-stop beauty spot.

Why did you decide to start your business? How did it transition from an idea or hobby to a full-fledged business?

I decided to start my business because I was growing—both in my skills and in my confidence. I had the tools, the experience, and the knowledge, and it felt like the right time. I’m really grateful for the years I spent working elsewhere, but I knew I wanted to create something of my own.

The transition happened slowly. I kept building my knowledge base, learning as much as I could, and letting the business grow naturally into what it is today.

What is the biggest challenge you face in operating your business?

Personally, perfectionism is my biggest challenge. I tend to overanalyze and overthink things, which can sometimes slow down my workflow. From a business standpoint, visibility can be tough—there isn’t a lot of walk-by traffic, so getting eyes on the space takes extra effort. That being said, I’ve been overwhelmed by the support from Pembertonians & Sea to Sky Residents thus far.

What is the greatest reward you experience from running your business?

The biggest reward is how personal everything feels now. People know this is my business, and that changes the dynamic completely. I’m a really passionate person, and that shows through every interaction. It feels more meaningful because I’m doing this for myself, and the connections I build with clients are deeper and more genuine.

How do you see your business contributing to the local community?

I think Baby Face Beauty brings something new to Pemberton and the Sea to Sky region. Skincare is booming right now, and it doesn’t have to be scary or intimidating. I want people to feel comfortable exploring skincare and making a day out of coming into Pemby—shopping local, supporting local, and experiencing what the community has to offer.

It’s all about approachability and doing things without the fluff.

Any last words or key messages you’d like to share about your business?

Accessibility and inclusivity are huge values for me. I’m a massive advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, and it’s really important to me that anyone walking into this space feels welcome, safe, and comfortable. Client comfort always comes first, and I want this studio to feel approachable for everyone.

Any 'Words of Wisdom' for Local or Aspiring Entrepreneurs?

If you’re thinking of something—just do it!

Don’t hesitate with your ideas. Go all in.

Even if it’s scary. Even if it feels big.

We often focus so much on “why not” that we forget about what’s possible. And along the way, take care of your mind and your body.

Beyond the Business: What do you do?

I used to be really social and travel a lot. These days, I’m usually watching Survivor on the couch with my 6-pound Maltipoo when I'm not working, or getting outside to snowboard or hike, and enjoying a slower balance while building something I really care about.

Head to Baby Face Beauty for ALL things esthetics - skincare, nails, waxing, or just to get to know the services they’re offering! Thanks for chatting with us, Rhiannon!
